closing the 2007 chapter

I come to the end of 2007 days counting
365 dates marked

I remember the first date I crossed
Longingly wished for the time to go by
So many things happened
New experience, adventures, togetherness, disasters..
New friends

Laughter that I shared
Tears that I shed

My best friends' weddings that I missed
and my dear friends' funerals..
also the new born babies..

I am closing the 2007 chapter with a couple of answers
one to my beloved other half
one to a question I used to deny

I am closing this chapter with wishes
of a prosperous and blessed new year
of commencement
of coming home
of seeing people that I miss
of luck and happiness
